Overview
Ouzoud is the day trip that surprises everyone. After a scenic two-and-a-half-hour drive through olive country, you arrive at the lip of a canyon where the El-Abid river leaps 110 meters in three tiers — rainbows guaranteed on sunny mornings.
A gentle path winds to the base past olive presses and friendly Barbary macaques. Down below you can hop on a raft to feel the spray, then lunch on a terrace with the falls as your backdrop before the golden-hour drive home.
