4-Day Desert Tour: Marrakech to Fes via Merzouga

4 Days / 3 Nights Max 17 Starts: Marrakech Ends: Fes 5.0 (1)

Overview

Travel like the caravans did — one way. This four-day route links Morocco's two most iconic cities through its most spectacular landscapes: the Tizi n'Tichka pass, Ait Ben Haddou, the rose-scented Dades Valley, the sheer walls of Todra Gorge and finally the great dunes of Erg Chebbi at Merzouga.

After your night under the stars, we continue north through the cedar forests of the Middle Atlas — say hello to the Barbary macaques near Azrou — and drop you at the gates of Fes, the oldest living medieval city in the world. No backtracking, no wasted hours: every kilometer is new scenery.

Traveler Reviews

No backtracking, all wonder
The Marrakech to Fes route is genius — every day new landscapes. Todra Gorge left me speechless and the sunrise at Erg Chebbi is worth the early alarm alone. Our group of 14 became friends by day two. Great value for what you get.
